Head equipment manager for Team Sweden, the swedish national icehockey team "Tre Kronor" is Anders Weiderstål. He uses the latest version of SSM-2 when he sharpens skates for Team Sweden during their games and tournaments. During his 27 years as equipment manager he has always used our SSM-2 skate sharpening machines.

As an equipment manager Anders has contributed to Team Sweden winning e.g. two olympic gold medals and six world championships. All Swedish national teams in icehockey and bandy use our SSM-2 skate sharpening machines. The same can be said for several other national teams in Europe.
 

The icehockey legend Igor Larionov wants to make sure that his own skates and those of his son are well sharpened.

At a visit to Sweden he contacted SSM Produkt AB and asked for the SSM-2. When he left to go back to his home in USA, he had a 110-120 V version of SSM-2/H-10 with him. This is the machine he uses at his home.
